Ensure the fundamental requirements of the brief are reflected in the design, through an ongoing dialog with the client.
Methodology
Obtain detailed site information.
Become fully informed of regulatory and statutory requirements likely to impact on the project.
Prepare initial responses to the brief and engage in a dialog to refine and enhance the concepts.
Seek and obtain all client approvals.
Identify the need for other consultants, engage or provide advice on their engagement.
Initiate introductory meetings with other consultants to disseminate information and increase the knowledge base of the project group.
Prepare preliminary budgets against the refined concept.
Prepare a master programme and obtain agreement and commitment from all parties to adhere to it.
